HYGGE
It’s been more than a year, and we still find ourselves between four walls. All thanks to COVID-19. Our day begins with a piece of negative news and probably ends with the same. And we are left with no scope for positivity. No parties, no fun, no trips or whatsoever; simply put, we are living the blandest life ever.
Hey!! Aren’t you tired of building the negativity tower so high in your life? How about you take a break from all this chaos? How about we look at our journey from another perspective?
Honestly, I do believe that it’s easier said than done but remember - me, you, and everyone needs to start at some point.
Having said that, why don’t you give it a try? (At least for fun 👀)
Question yourself as to what could you possibly learn from this mess? All you need to do is -
Ponder. Filter. Embrace.
Out of everything, the most relevant thought could be “appreciate the little things in life” - this summarizes the whole concept of having a different outlook on life.
If we try to take this further, embracing your own company is virtue itself. Sure, you would feel lonely at the beginning but trust the process because you will end up loving this!
You get to rediscover yourself, fathom out various scenarios that either broke you or helped you, try out new things, and many more.
(Sounds cliche.😅)
Having said that, you could try a new recipe for which you have unlimited chances. (Until you either run out of ingredients or burn down the whole kitchen. 😬)
You will find a plethora of activities to try out, which are both fun and engaging. And all you need to do is hit the starting point. No matter what the outcome is, give your best. If the recipe you tried to cook didn’t reach your expectations, don’t feel sad because as long as it is edible, who cares? However, this doesn’t mean you go overboard and compliment yourself for everything but useless. 😐
Celebrate what is necessary. It gives you the confidence to get on with the next task.
In a nutshell, no matter what it is, for how long or whatever, if you feel good, remember to appreciate, embrace and celebrate. In a way, you will feel happy, content, and refreshed.
