IKIGAI - H²(Hope -- Happy)

 Another year and yet we find ourselves lost in this enormous maze of misfortune and adversity. Every human is on the path of finding a way out of it. And in this journey, you face a lot of turmoils that drain you both mentally and physically. The aura around you does nothing but making the situation much worse. Nevertheless, you are still fighting and trying hard to find a way out of this saga of misery with the “hope” that you will be happy once again!

Our fuel for humans to achieve a “happy” life in the future.


Happy

A phase of life in which we are yearning to live. Simply put, all we want is to be happy right now. However, the main concern is how are you going to achieve this bliss amidst the chaos?

Every day you wake up to unpleasant news making you feel dejected. Life all over the world is becoming worse day by day. You find various sources to distract yourself, alas you never really find any! 


Well, this is something to ponder upon, as this is regarding your mental health. Practically speaking, unless you are mentally strong, you cannot support your loved ones. It is the time that we start taking responsibility and be a support system to our loved ones.


How to find a source or at least a ray of happiness in this sitch?


Well, this might seem to be cumbersome; however, it isn’t.

Let’s know about this in a structured way: -


  • No need to express how you feel

➣You get tired of listening to the news and the sorrows of millions, which drains you emotionally. Well, this might not seem to be a big deal for most of them as they believe that expressing your feelings is quite good and unfortunately you might be wrong.

➣Logically speaking, you are bound to express sadness and negativity, eventually ruining your whole day and others’ mood too! It is advisable to take a break from your social media or the news headlines which you follow every day as it will keep you away from the mayhem and allow you to focus on your family or your work. 


  • Happiness as in keeping your mind at peace

➣Surprisingly, you don’t have to search for a source that provides you peace as you need nothing but yourself. Yes, you don’t need exercise, music, meditation, or web series to keep you away from this chaos. All you have to do is observe your thoughts and let them go. If you don’t, you will end in this vicious cycle of constant fear.

➣To be clear, when you are afraid, you tend to develop negative thoughts, which will lead you on to overthinking, forcing you to jump to vague conclusions causing havoc. Is this what you want right now? Well, as far as we remember, you are on the quest for peace. Therefore, let go of your thoughts - take time for yourselves - do not think anything for that moment - close your eyes and just live in the moment. 


After a short period of rejuvenation, you feel strong, peaceful and most importantly, you feel brave enough to face any issue. Hence whenever you encounter a hurdle, try to pause and take a break. Later, when you feel emotionally charged, try taking a detour mentally, evaluate what went wrong and how to surpass this obstacle. It helps in building your confidence, makes you brave, mature, and you start believing yourself. Lastly, happiness is within you. We agree this sounds cliche but, that’s true! 💁
