Nouveau Départ
You wake up to the sounds of birds chirping near your window; feeling the zephyr touching your face, languidly making your way to get started with the day. Kicking off with enthusiasm, all set to hit work; unfortunately, your brain shuts down. 😕
You feel incompetent, pathetic, despite struggling hard to excel in your work, you see yourself failing in the mere process; eventually loosing hopes and giving up. Oblivious to your potential, you end up start doubting your abilities. And one of the root causes for this is –stress. The fact that your workload increases; multiple attempts to get things right; your peers getting ahead of you.
But hey! How long are you going to suffer like this, doubting and feeling sorrow for yourself? Well, it’s time to put an end to few things.
It’s time to build a better version of "YOU". The process is relatively simple; however, this needs incessant efforts and most importantly, requires a lot of time. Nevertheless, the results are bound to be fruitful.
Having said that, let's dive into a puddle of loving yourself:
- Vent
out all your emotions which you’ve been holding on to. This plays a major role
in deciding your mood

- When your mind is stable and calm, ponder the possibilities where you could go wrong subsequently making you give up.
- Since it is the time to work on yourself, do not let your mind wander. Give your undivided attention to work or activity which you love to do.
- Make little changes in your daily lifestyle. Start your day with yoga or exercise; grooving to your Spotify playlist. A little stretch will also count.😉
- Have a skincare routine –a simple face wash in the morning or a range of products; choose your type. This helps in making you feel rejuvenated.😌
- If you are forgetful like "us" 😅, you better have a to-do list. Appreciate “YOU” by rewarding with breaks.
- Imbibe new hobbies because why not? Every hobby has its perks
- Feel free to express how you feel with the people close to you. Remember communication is the key
- Try interacting with people as much as you can as this helps in levitating your mood and lighten your heart.🤍
- Stay hydrated and healthy; incorporate healthy habits. Work at your own pace.
This might seem pretty simple and ordinary, BUT if you look keenly there are plenty of things missing in your lifestyle right now. You need not undergo drastic measures unfavorable to you, to reach a milestone. Small amendments make a great impact. Besides, you may feel like, this takes A LOT of time. OFCOURSE it will, because a person cannot change overnight. Therefore leave no stone unturned since you are working on yourself! Remember good things take time and never doubt your worth!
